The Strome Entrepreneurial Center (SEC) offers speakers, workshops, contests, and meet-ups every week during the semesters. We also provide individual advising/mentoring sessions for those interested in starting a venture, or in growing an existing one. We also host opportunities for internships and have Student Shared Working Spaces for new companies on campus.

How We Help
We can help connect you with resources in the community that you may need for your ventures, such as programming, marketing, legal assistance, and other start-up activities.
COST
Events, activities, and advising are free. We encourage and support all members of the ODU community to learn about entrepreneurship and innovation - and to start new ventures, including for-profit, not-for-profit, "intrapreneurs" in larger organizations, and social entrepreneurship.
Founders
The Strome Entrepreneurial Center exists today because of a generous donation from Mark and Tammy Strome. The Stromes are lifelong entrepreneurs that believe in empowering young entrepreneurs so that they too can live their dreams and change the world.
